Thank you sir!! It really wasn't too hard. Just have to make sure there is nothing on the other side that the hole saw will grab or cut into (wires, hoses, etc...).

How did you do that? Do the new 2.0 poles come with those rubber grommets?

Yes. They do. I used a hole saw when I did mine. The install instructions will tell you what size to use.

Takes a 3/4” hole. I used a cheap step but from harbor freight. I started mine with a 1/8” pilot hole. Then the step bit. Also, use a liberal amount of silicon to seal both the hoses to the grommets and the grommets to the hull. Allow to cure for 24hours before getting them wet.

When drilling thru fiberglass always be sure to run your drill in reverse first to start the hole then switch to forward

Where can you get the grommets for the 5/16" plastic hoses?

call Power Pole most likely will send them to you no charge! would be the plastic inserts for the older 5/16" line not grommets like the 2.0 hoses have however

Listened to my dealer, and for a phoenix boat I think this location makes sense. No kinks and easy to route inside the box.
