My brother and I will be there again. Had a blast last year and my brother lucked into a $1000 winning fish in the last hour on Saturday. Hope its a little warmer this year, I froze to death in the AM

Lots of good fish weighed today. I counted 26 fish over 5 lbs brought to the scales. Weather is not looking good for tomorrow, so going to try a couple of hours first thing, then head north ahead of the storms.

Oh, FYI, 8.32 is biggest fish today. Congrats to whoever caught that monster. Should be good for a new boat!

Big thanks to everyone who came out this year. Weather ended up not being an issue at all today. See everyone next year!

Next up for us is Lake Norman in two weeks.

We fished until 8:30 a.m. I boated a 4.40 around 7:30 that was good for a few bucks the 8-9 hour. We weighed in, headed straight to the ramp, and pointed the truck north. Watched as the temp dropped 30 degrees by the time we hit the mason dixon. Another great trip to SML.

Norman should be great conditions for catching some big girls. I’m heading down this Friday and will be there all next week.
