    19TRX 225 owners

Just got this boat. It’s a 2015 225 proxs. One power pole, 36v ultrex, full gas, 220lb man and loaded with tackle but empty livewells. I got a brand new 24 fury 3 blade and was only getting 67.5mph at 5900 rpms. I have a hydraulic jack plate and played with different heights. Thinking a 25 pitch. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hole shot is very good.

3 to 3 1/2 “ below pad should be the sweet spot

Fury did not do well on my TRX. It would lose bite really easily.

I run a fury 4 26p and I can see 70 with just about any load. I liked my 25p fury4 better though

I saw 70 with a 26 tempest by myself and 63-64 with my partner and hole shot was atrocious. I have a 25 fury 4 on the way and will be cutting 3/8" off the flare of my 24 fury 3 blade this week. I also have a 24 trophy to test and have a call into Mark Croxton. I will post up all my results once I have them. I think the big problem I am having is with what I consider loaded compared to others.

    -full Gas
    -full oil
    -36V Ultrex
    -4 9" graphs
    -hydraulic JP
    -dual console
    -2 butt seats
    -one power pole
    -full livewells
    -24 rods
    -18 full plano boxes
    -15lb anchor
    -20lb tool kit
    -spare prop and wrench
    -rod holders w/ rails
    -quick jump starter

Here are the props I have tried:
    26 tempest plus
    26 trophy
    25 fury 4
    24 fury 3
    24 trophy

As of now the 24 fury 3 has best hole shot and top end with 2 guys loaded. Going to get a 25 tempest plus and 25 fury 3.

That's a heavy load. Rpm wise the 25 tempest plus should be close to the 24 fury 3. My 20 trx likes the tempest props better. I traded for a used 25 and sent it to Mark. The hole shot and mid range is blistering fast for my boat. Haven't had a good water to air it out with the 25 yet.

Good to know! I called Mark but he never called. Back. I will try again after the tempest arrives and I run it stock.

I run a 25 pitch Fury 3 blade. Fastest I've gotten up to is 68 with me (260) and my fiancé and dog in the boat, so pretty much a tournament load lol.

But, I mostly fish tournaments with my dad (300) so I've just come to terms with the fact that with both of us and livewells full, 65 is topspeed.

    Riches,

I was running a 25 fury three blade and 64 was It. That was w me, 210 lbs, my wife 120ish, heavy tackle load, full wells, maybe a lill over half a tank of fuel and 2 10' poles. I switched to a 25 tempest + and the boat went 71 with still some left. The boat felt like It was on rails.
