Sunbride inn is nice and parking is as well. Holiday Inn next to that but the parking is not very boater friendly. OSO Blanco wasn't that bad when we there in January but still smells like a cat box, best thing was the game room was closed so there wasn't a bunch of drunks roaming around. I've heard the fishing wasn't that great, may want to read James report on Falcon lake tackle.

If you decide to stay on the south end down by the dam check out Falcon Heights Motel. Bring your food as there is a big kitchen and grills to use, the ramp is just a few miles from the motel. You won't regret staying there, let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

I have stayed at Oso Blano every trip there...Parking is great if you get a room up front, and your in town and close to everything...Only draw back is the drive to the dam if you fish the south end of the lake, but its not too bad....I have never had an issue there any of the times I have stayed

My experience in late December was that they've let it go downhill. The showers are bad, the tub had a big hole in it, we got moved from our first room because the card reader needed repair (understandable, but still sucked), cats EVERYWHERE, people hanging out at the casino left beer bottles in the parking lot every night, a lot of loud mouth cussing in the parking lot late at night while a woman lays on the horn for 30 seconds at a time with an SUV full of kids.

Cliff I have been through that loud shit before down there and know what you mean. When we were there in February the game room was closed and the place was quite. We stayed in the two end room all the way down on the end and they weren't bad at all but certainly have had the same issues as you did. Duri our prefish days we stayed at Sunbridge and they were really nice and if I go back down there that's where I'd prefer to stay but will say the upside to OSO is being off the highway and the parking was good.

I agree. The location and parking can't be beat.
