Hey guys,
I recently bought a 2000 Stratos 268 V with a 115 Johnson on it. It has a plain old aluminum prop on it and I honestly haven't even looked at the pitch of it or anything. That being said, I know the boat would perform better with a different prop. It gets out of the hole ok but it can spin up too high, over 6100 rpm, and blows out. The "sweet spot" for trim/rpm ratio is really hard to get dialed in without overrevving or blowing out. Anybody got any ideas of where to start?
TIA
