How is J Miles able to get Loomis blanks? They stopped selling blanks to the public when Shimano took over.

Most likely means he is using NFC blanks. I have built several of them and while they are very very nice, i have yet to see one with the old actions that Shimano bought out personally.

You need to explain how or were you bought an NRX blank. Loomis stopped selling blanks a long time ago. A lot of rod builders would be pretty excited to get their hands on an NRX blank. Although North Fork makes great blanks Gary still uses the old IMX blank.
