Staying Current
I was walking down the hall with my Mom in the nursing home last week and she was nearly run down one of the aides pushing a wheel chair into the hallway while not looking where she was going. I joked with a man that was out for a walk “Better be careful Bob.There are women drivers down there.”
One of the CNA’s called down the hallway “I heard that Dan!”
I decided after that to stop making comments about “Women Drivers” because it’s an outdated, insensitive stereotype that should no longer be used.
From now on I’ll refer to them as “Gender Impaired Drivers.”
