bassnman81, Im right with you buddy on the speed of these things! I had a 2000 R83 that I bought in 2003 that had a Merc 175 efi. In my test drive, 3 of us in the boat I hit 66 with what seemed like a lot of throttle left. Once home and warmer weather, my son and I could tickle 67 gps with that rig. Had Mark balance and blueprint the prop and turned it 71 gps. I even removed the factory 175 on the back and replaced it with about 6" tall numbers. That way when I passed the 200 and 225's, They new they just got spanked by a STOCK 175!! My son owns the boat now and blew the 175 beyond repair and replaced it with a 150.

I had an awful lot of guys that swore I was running a bigger motor with the smaller cowel, but was not the case. That was just one hot 175! It sure was fun while it lasted!

I have a 2000 R93VS Ranger that I have acquired that's has been setting up for 5 years. The switches on the console , 3 on the left side and a dial and 3 switches on the right side. I need to identify what these switches are due to the lettering are gone. Can someone help me as I try to get this boat back on the water
