    Trailer Question

I have a Minn Kota Ulterra trolling motor on my skeeter Bass Boat.
Because it hangs off the bow so far I have it mounted on a slideing
plate so I can push it back so it does not hit the bow roller when
the boat starts off the trailer. My question is this; has anyone added
anything to the trailer that will keep the boat from dropping down
    when coming off the trailer?

Don't back in as far and the bow will not drop down so drastically.

or when you get the boat in the water keep backing up (cant slow down, need the water pushing on the transom to hold the boat up, its not fast, just a smooth movement) till the bow starts floating enough to prevent it from flopping off the roller, this is what i do on steep ramps

Somehow I get the idea your trolling motor is mounted straight ahead or needs more of an angle to clear the bow roller. Just thinking, probably thinking wrong.

A keel roller if you can mount it where it will be effective.

The bow drops because you are in too deep. It should be mostly sitting on the bunks so the bow can't drop.
