What prop should I be running?

Hi. I have a 04 VMAX 200 and I’m wondering if anyone has tried different props for this motor. It seems the past two times I took my boat out it’s running slower and slower. Could be other things but I’m open to trying whatever it takes to get me back to 70mph. Only able to run 63 the past two times out

If you lost 7mph, mostlikely you have more than a prop problem. As far as whats the best prop to run on that moter depends on what size boat its bolted to.

You might consider running a compression test on your engine just to rule out any possible internal engine issues.

It’s a Skeeter TZX200. I will also add it started to do this after the boat sat up for 2 months while I was working.

If compression checks good you should have the complete fuel system serviced from fuel lines, filters to the injectors. A 25p M, T1 or Tempest prop should get you back to 70 but only if the motor is running right.
