I'll add my name to the list of people who are not happy with the Texas Tackle Pliers. I have the orange handle version. I think they would be fine for split rings size 4 and larger but start to have trouble with size 3 and I don't even try size 2 with them anymore. I might try xuron next.

My Xurons are arriving today. Same as above, I ordered them because of this thread. I'd love to see the jumps in sales on certain products when threads like this pop up!

I got the Zuron's to handle small oval rings.

They really are top notch, imo the best I've personally ever used. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I got mine - definitely better than TX tackle ones I had.

I bought Texas Tackle pliers and the point angle is not sharp enough to work well on the smaller split rings, so I will try a pair of Xurons next.

Haven't used the Xuron, but prob gonna give them a try. Have always used the Leadmaster 800 with the round nose jaw on one side. Could do all my split ringing, and wire bending with one tool...They are no longer on the market....If anyone has a pair taking up space, I'll take them off your hands.

    Bump!

Soooo, for all the people that ordered Xuron’s, how do you like it compared to Texas Tackle pliers?
