I'm wandering if xd-50 is a good preference for this motor. My motor has been converted to a pre-mix and I just want to make sure xd-50 is a pre mix oil to use in my motor.
Last year I ran quicksilver semi with no issues but I read about the carbon issues that are left behind.

XD-50 is also a semi-sythetic blend but it does have an added agent in it that cuts down on carbon. You can decarb your motor once every 100 hours if you wish using BRP Engine tuner or Mercury's Power tune.
