    ulterra shaft maintenance

    The Ulterra maintenance manual recommends an Aqueous based silicone spray for lubricating the shaft.

    For those with an Ulterra what type/brand of product are you using?

    manual mentions to clean the motor after every use. probably not necessary but depends on the conditions the motor was subjected to.
    pay attention to how the motor stows/deploys, slow, sticking, etc. this should be a good indicator as when to apply.
    personally i'll try and check mine after i return each trip as i'm hooking up the battery charger.
