    NOT SURE WHAT THIS IS?

Hey anyone I attached a picture from my 84 champ of what looks like a speedo sensor of some kind that has a wheel of some sort. Now that is mounted on the lower left side and on the right side is the speedo sensor that I am familiar with. I attached a picture of both, I'm going through resto right now and removed the old lowrance fish finder on the bow and the one on the dash I'm just going to leave it there but disconnect and install a couple of Garmins. I mean whatever it is I'm fairly certain I can remove it and maybe use the mount location for the Garmin.

The one with the wheel is a speed sensor for an old lowrance unit

The white piece is a Pitot tube for the speedometer.

Just make sure you use a good silicone when you install the transducer.

Best I remember, the paddle wheel was just for trolling. Didn't work at higher speeds.
