    Considering a 719

I've read and read about phoenix boats. I fish alot of great lakes. I know no boat is long enough out there but due to garage constraints I'm limited to 23' storage length. I had a tr20 that I liked very much but sold it. Now I'm looking at a 2013 719 with a yamaha 225 sho that has 0 hours on new powerhead. Replaced through Yamahas customer satisfaction campaign. I'm having cold feet because the purchase price is 3 times what I sold my tr20 for. Should I be concerned because of the powerhead? I think the previous motor had 350hrs. It is exceptionally well rigged (I figured 10-12k in rigging) but I could get a brand new 919 for $3000 more before rigging. I just can't wait 3-4 months for a new boat.

Is the front deck of the 719 similar sized to a tr20? I thought the tr20 was fair sized front deck but terribly narrow at the bow. Took alot of sturgeon bay water over the bow in the triton.

There is no way a 5-6 year old 719 should be that close to a new 919. Personally I wouldn't mind having the new powerhead if the price was right but that seems high to me. Call around. If you can swing a new boat someone may have one on the floor. May have to drive but it'd be worth it.

    Sounds over priced to me.

I should say the new 919 would include no units or a trolling motor and the quote was a 200 pro xs instead of the 225 sho that the 719 has. It's $41,500. Does have 2 hds9 gen 3, a hds12 gen 3, twin 10ft blades, 36v fortrex, optima batteries, sonic hub, nmea gauges, hydrowave

Thats not much less than I paid for my 2012 719 brand new. But I have added poles, ultrex, HDS 12's. Seems high. I will also be getting a customer satisfaction replacement on my SHO 225, but waiting until closer to December 2018 when my letter expires.
Look around some more would be my advice (but hard to pass up a new powerhead). Can you buy an extended warranty on the rebuilt SHO?

Been looking a long time. Also require single axle so my options are limited.
