Transducers that came with new GN2 Helix 9, 10

Attached are the two transducers. I just received my Helix 10 Mega Chirp SI , and Helix 9 Mega Chirp DI..

I am gathering the 9 ducer to send to HB for replacement for trolling motor puck. But I am wondering if they sent me last years non mega model or something? Is the incredibly more rugged, heavy and just much larger one that came with my Helix 10 all bubbled wrapped and everything just that much nicer because it has SI as well as DI??

The one on the left is a MEGA Side Imaging transducer. It does SI/DI/2D/Temp.
The one the right is a DI transducer. It does DI/2D/Temp. If the one on the right is a XNT 9 MDI T, that is the Dual Spectrum DI transducer for a MEGA DI unit.

There is no Dual Spectrum SI transducer.

You can use the XTM 9 MDI T or the XNT 9 DI T with a MEGA SI Helix, but you won't have Side Imaging.

Thanks Wayne, I only ask because the one on the right (came with the Helix 9) just looks cheap compared to the massive one on the left (Helix 10)

So the cable on the (right) side one says : XM 9 MDI T

So assuming its correct either way its going back to HB for puck just wanted to make sure is all .Thanks

Yes, that is the Dual Spectrum DI transducer that comes with a MEGA DI unit.

The MEGA SI transducer is XM 9 20 MSI T.

Just look at the transducer model names.

Makes sense, Thank you.. Just put it on the dock for overnight shipment back to HB, shows a free trade for the puck so hopefully that takes less than 21 working days :) and hopefully the dam Sun comes out at some point in New England this month
