I don't really have anything against Jordan Lee at all but man I hate it for christie. He lost last years AOY by basically one fish and did the same in this classic. I'm sick for him..... But what about Brent Ehrler? Guy just seems to get shafted every other tournament. 2nd place in last years classic and dejavu all over again. It's hard for me to watch those guys put there time in year after year and can't get that break. Congrats to Jordan though.

You forgot to mention how Christie lost the 2016 Classic. Hate it for him but he seemed to just choke today mentally. You can take a shaker head to any bank on Hartwell and catch a 1.5 lb fish. He needed five.

he stated several times he was commited to what he was doing. Also you have to remember
he doesn't know he only needed a 1.5lb fish.

And apparently with the chatterbait most of the day even though the wind never blew and that bite wasn't working.

Congrats to Jordan! Heck of a young angler.

I was having issues with the weighin, kept blacking out on me. Was his main bait a chattertype of bait too?

This. If I was fishing any tournament into the lead the final day never would I imagine all I would need would be 5 average keeper fish to win it. That is unless you go into the final day already blowing everyone out of the water. Similar to Horton in the past. I do give him credit though to sticking to his guns on the final day on the biggest stage even when it wasn't working the greatest.

Now listening to Evers talk I do think he would have fished very different this final day if he knew he didn't need much to win.

You may not know what weight you need, but you do know you need to fill out your limit. At the very least get your limit, then worry about weight. I know, it's easier than it sounds, but 5 is 5. Congrats to JL and good luck to JC in the future.

Because Jordan took off running and jumping. Christie did the right thing by walking off at that point and letting Lee have his moment.

Christie shook his hand before they weighed his fish...this is common. No one should question his sportsmanship.
