The March NoAl tournament was held yesterday on Wheeler with a total of five teams participating. The morning started off with a line of thunderstorms which quickly moved out of the area prior to "ease off". Even though the weather didn't delay the day's start, the stiff northwest wind that moved in with the passage of the front really dictated where and how we could fish. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a great day after all even though the fish were less than cooperative with only one limit being weighed in. That limit was weighed in by Matt and Russ who finished in first place with a total of 9.54 pounds. I was fortunate enough to land a decent 4.58 pound smallmouth which was good enough for big fish honors.

Since we were unable to fish Wilson in February because of the flood conditions on the Tennessee River, we decided to hold our next tournament there on the 21st of April out of Fleet Harbor. Look for a sign up thread in the next couple of days and hope to see ya'll there!!
