    It's not to much trouble to do it each time. When I get off the water, I turn my electronics master switch off and trip my trolling motor breaker (both in battery compartment) and then when I get home I plug up charger. Next time I go to the lake, I reset the trolling motor breaker and turn on my electronics master switch before I put it in the water. I guess it's just a habit now.

    Yeah... but that wouldn't power off my Ethernet hub.

    I have a Perko switch on cranking battery and one for TM batteries. When I charge batteries, they are isolated from the engine and boat electronics.

    Ohhhhh.... I see.... so your saying I am getting off topic. Well, your post AFTER mine made it sound like you were responding to what I posted so I was simply responding to why your suggestion would not work in my situation. Carry on.... I will try not to mess this up anymore.
