I doubt it if he stays on that spotted bass bite till noon. Gotta go largies all day and get a few big bites. Never ever count him out.

If the other two don’t find some fish he can. We shall see.

Jason is second guessing himself already. Hopefully he can get focused. Otherwise Jordan or one of the others will win and it will be 2016 all over again.

Kinda surprised Evers didn't go to his ditch and catch a quicklimit with that neko rig (believe that's what he was throwing) and then go searching for a bigger bite. Can't say I'd gamble and fish new water right from the start when I know the spot I've been milking still has some fish on it. even if they are small keepers.

If Evers or Christie don't catch them, then yes he can win. Christie puts a limit together he is going to need to cull a bunch of times. Would be fun to have back to back wins, especially at his young age.

Any starting strategy that depends on people above you struggling to catch 5 is not the way to win many events. Christie trying to catch 5 to make people behind him catch a bigger bag makes sense but it’s not his style. His style is why he is the great tourney fisherman he is. I’m guessing a jig or other power technique eventually wins this event. Pulling for Christie, hope he grabs a jig and goes to docks. That’s the only way I know to catch them good at Hartwell in this kind of weather.

If Gman hits the right 4 docks with that jig, lookout!!!

I’m gonna have to pull for Wheeler for the win, this place would melt down from all the hate post!
