    1993 Evinrude Vindicator 200 good and bad??

    Found a 93 BCB Pantera 2 with a Vindicator 200. Good motors or not? Never been a Rude guy. Been sitting a few years going to need some work just wondering about the motor as far as issues.

    Solid as a rock. First thing I'd do is to remove the #2 high speed orifice and replace it with on 2 sizes larger. This will improve the cooling on #2 cylinder and aides in keeping the locating pins for the rings in place, and replace the carb drain plugs with the new style plugs that have a raised end on them. This keeps the high speed orifices in place in the carb bowls.
