    Sonar question

Im installing a solix up front with the side imaging transfucer. There is also a 798 up front.
Can you operate the 798 off the built in transfucer at the same time as running the Solix off the side imaging?
or will they interfere with each other.

If the 798 is strictly 2D and the Solix is used for imaging, you should be Ok. Problem is where both units are doing the same thing. 2D uses lower frequency ranges than imaging.

I think you should be able to. Most sonar transducers are within a foot or so of the side scan.

I think the 2 would have to be different frequencies.
