Out of all the chatterbaits available I like Z man the least ??

I used to feel the same until I bought jackhammers and won a few tourneys with them last year. Glad the price scares most away

I couple of weeks ago I heard Brett Hite speak for about 30 minutes on fishing the Jackhammer and some of the differences between the JH and the Chatterbait Elite. There is a lot more to it than the info I've read on these pages, that's for sure. Of course he's been fishing it since the Ron Davis, Sr. days and has won over a $1,000,000 on it so I tended to listen.

I make my own but the Omega Custom Tackle Rapture is quickly becoming my favorite to throw. It hunts like no other and is very well made. I would check them out if you haven't already.

In my opinion the chatterbait, swim jig and spinnerbaits can all be on fire early season over grass and either one could out perform the other depending on the lake.

I doubt it. Was just at BPS at all three pegs of Jackhammers were sold out despite them being 19.99 when most places sell them for 15.99. All the cheaper chatterbait pegs were full. It's also listed as a best seller on TW. Lots of people are buying them.

It's too bad they have them for 19.99 instead of 15.99 like TW, kind of kills the deal. After tax, it's still cheaper to buy from TW at regular price. Now if you can find one of those $10 off $50 coupons DSG has frequently, you could make out pretty good on that deal.
