    Panoptix - need suggestion

    OK guys, I have been really researching the live vu forward - just want this as I have down and side with my Lowrance units. Which transducer to I get today for just this application. Also, it looks like I can get a very reasonable head unit (500-600) for this application. Again, which head unit for just scanning forward? Thanks in advance.

    I really like the 20 degree beam of the newest PS22 for pinpointing targets. But, if you can get a good deal on the PS21 (45 degree beam), could be worth the trade off.

    For a dedicated Panoptix unit, hard to beat the price point of either an echoMAP CHIRP 7/9, or the echoMAP Plus 7/9 units.
