    Caracal dipnet?!?

Has anyone found a net that fits the caracal correctly without paying $80 for the caracal dipnet from the basscat store?!

If you already have to buy a net......Just buy the one made for the boat and be done with it.

Just about every one I have in my garage works in the net holder, I think the choices are many.

I have a "ranger ruler net" i got it from bass pro. Its a normal net type. With a hexagon tube so the detents when extending it do not spin. its the 30-45" model 22"x20" basket. I then changed out the net inside it for a rubber one that I sourced from EGO nets. The biggest thing I noticed about the Caracal net, is the basket is very deep and leaves alot of excess material that you will have to squish down into the net scabbard making it a little harder to deploy. I was lucky enough to go to bass pro and try most of their nets and thats the best one I have found so far. PM me if you want my # I can send you some pictures and what not of how it fits in the scabbard.
