Anybody see any new Mercury 4 stroke 175-250 at the classic?

Have not seen the 250? Looks like they announced the 150 Pro xs 4 stroke so far.

Saw the new 175-200-225 at the Milwaukee sport show last week. Look a lot nicer in person. I think a lot better than the Evinrudes.

I may have to get another new boat after all, thought I was done. I like the look of the new Mercury.

They had all the Mercury big motors represented. Including the new four strokes up to 225. No 250.

Lol... I have an Evinrude and that thing looks nearly identical. I would be surprised if it that 4-stroke Merc can keep up with my Evinrude. Everything that you've read about the G2 is real. It really doesn't matter in the end because i've beaten guys in $80,000 rigs and i've been beaten by guys in $2,000 rigs.

Looks like a G2 clone. All of the Merc guys said they hated the appearance of the G2. Bet they love this!

Not all of them, I find it hideous. The white looks better than the black though, in my opinion.

Oh no doubt about it, I really like the current cowlings on the smaller merc 4 strokes now, I just wish the bigger models would have the same option. I just keep envisioning a seahorse when I see the new model. I do think it will take away some of their sales with this look.

Looks just like every other modern day piece of power equipment. Jet skis, quads, snowmobiles all have the same type of styling. I think it looks nice.

I think it would look ok if the point on top of hood wasn't so pronounced!

Look ok the from front and rear. From the side, not so much!

I'm a mercury guy and I liked the g2 when it came out. This mercury will have to grow on me. My next boat will have a Suzuki or Honda on the back.

There was quite a stir last year because some Evinrudes and maybe even a (my black motor) Suzuki broke down last year if I remember correctly.

Anyhow, I hope it's a good, fast, dependable, fuel efficient, quiet motor.
