software updates on core units

I have an 898,998,and 1198 unit on my rig , all Ethernet hookup. I am updating to a minn-kota I Pilot Link Trolling Motor. What versions of software are the latest that I need to install on my units . I have 2 Lakemaster cards that are Link compatible that I run on the 1198 and the 898 units .

There has not been any software updates for those models since Summer 2015.
7.670 is the last one for the 1198c SI Combo.
It is still in your account if you registered them.

Unless you have a pre-2017 non BT motor, you will have limited functionality - Wes may be along to better explain why he's got a pair of Helix and his 998 is a mapping unit now....

The xx9/xxx9 and later units are only units that received the new Bluetooth TM software updates. All the pre-2017 ipilot/link TM functions are same. The newer TMs have Circle Mode which is initiated from HB unit and isn't available on the older HB units. Can't update TM Controller and Remote software from the older HB units but would still have capability thru phone app and Remote.
