    Academy help!

    I just upgraded to 36v Fortrex in January. Added another battery and a new minn Kota charger. Now the charger will not charge from one port. I moved the wires to be sure, so I know it's not the battery. Of course I can't find the receipt or the box. What's the chances of getting this exchanged.

    Call Minn Kota and they will give you an RA and will send you a new one. Retailers will not exchange products. They will tell you to take it to an ASC. Or you can bring it to me in Pierre Part or Riptide in Houma.

    "IF" a battery is 9 volts or lower the charger will not charge that particular battery. The battery voltage must be above 9 volts before the charger will begin to charge the battery.

    It's not that. I switched the cables to different battery and it does the same. Same port doesn't charge.

    minn kota has troubleshooting guides you can download. Depending on the lights status you can determine the possible problems.
