    Cloudy clear coat

    Any suggestions in buffing out a cloudy clear coat?

    It can take a lot of work but ive done a few. Start with 1000 or 1200 grit wet sand paper and wet sand it all. Then go to 1500 or 2000 and wet sand it all. Get a high speed buffer (not an orbital buffer) and a good rubbing compound and high speed buff the entire boat using the rubbing compoud. Then use a good finishing polish or wax and apply it by hand and buff off with a soft cloth. I can send you some pics of a couple I've done that are black via text if you want.     Really can’t give ”good” advice without at least seeing a pic or two. Every boat and finish condition is different.
