I recently purchased my first Lews reel ever. It is a Hypermag. It has the four red bead looking break arms inside the side plate. How do you engage the brake pins inside or do these even get engaged? Is the only break adjustment on the outside?

1. This is my first Lews ever.
2. I am used to Shimano.
3. I am not a smart man child.
4. Manual does not talk about it.
I do believe the only adjustable braking system on a Lews is on the outside.
I don't think you can adjust them, I may be wrong though. I had my Hypermag for about a week before I sold it for a Steez A so I forgot to really pay attention to the breaks.
