Green River early April

Heading to Green in early April. Ton of rain and cold water. Is this normal water condition for this time of year? What is a typical pattern for Lg/Sm. Hopefully weather warms up by then.

The water conditions are nowhere near normal for the time of year. They are currently knocking the bottom out of the lake because it's about 7.5 ft over summer pool. On 3/14 it fell almost 1 ft but looking at the anticipated gate setting for 3/15 they are going to open the main gate from 1.6 to 2.2 so this should mean the lake will fall well over 1 ft per day...this is nowhere near normal for mid March. By early April if things are stable I predict it will be slightly under summer pool by 1-3 ft. If we get another big rain event it could easily be back in the parking lot so who knows what will happen...as for a pattern in early April it is power fishing 101. Pick what you like to throw and hit a pre-spawn area.
