Found some floating jig heads a few years ago. They were $.50 a dozen on closeout at wally world. Dug them out of the pile last week and figured I'd turn them into a sort of popper thingy. Hook rides tail down, point up, darts slightly below the surface. #6 I think. Gotta wait until things warm up. The orange jigs are on #12 from a long time ago. The yellow are glass beads tied on #10's. Going to twist up a bunch more in different colors. They'll work on a 3 or 4 wt.
