    2000 Triton TR186 Hydrowave power setup

    Hey Guys,

    Will be installing a hydrowave and looking for the best idea for powering my unit. I have very little elec. knowledge but would like to do this my self.
    What will i need? easiest/safest way to complete? Any other tips and tricks?

    I just spliced mine into the bow graph positive and negative wires.

    I would stay away from the graph splice into the bow light and you will have power on and off with the acc. switch. That is how I did it.

    You can also run the wire directly to the battery with an inline fuse, that's how I did mine. The hardest part is getting the wire ran down the inside of the boat.

    Triton150 - I understand that, I was asking for anyone with my similar boat that knows whats under the plate at the bow.

    Boomer- How did you splice it? Again, i am a total green with elec.

    I spliced into the bow light. Two wires, pos and neg. This is controlled by your light assy switch for power function. unscrew the bow light hold connector the two wires are there.

    Boomer, sounds good. Did you use a butt splice, t tap, or what? Thanks for all your help.

    Butt slice, cut, splice connector, secure good to go..
