    Double ploppers

I was wondering if anyone used them much or had much luck with them? I found them not to be the best casting bait and not even a swirl.

I figure there's a good reason they're on the clearance shelves at every store that carries/d them.

I’ve noticed their clearance rack status, that’s what got me thinking.

I gave them a pretty fair shake in some night tourneys last summer and I was definitely disappointed

Yep, to light to cast well. I got mine in a Mystery Tackle Box. Caught a few fish with it. It's now back in its box. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it.

Mine is hanging out in my garage...somewhere. I think it's sitting on a ladder.

Bought 2 of them when they first came out. Not a big fan. The ploppers don't spin well half the time and I've also had instances of it rolling over and bringing it partially back to the boat upside down before it flips over. I have yet to catch a fish on one. Plus, they are hard to cast because of their light weight. That's money I wish I would have spent differently.
