Exorbitant ramp fees.
Almost the entire lake has waterfront homes, so there is lots and lots of docks. There is one shallow area to avoid when running hard on the south end near the dam. It used to be marked, but I haven't been there for a few years. It is a water company lake so the elevation doesn't fluctuate very much. Last I heard it is $35 to launch on weekends and $20 to launch during the week. I'm sure others will know more than me.
The best way to cheer yourself up is to cheer up someone else.
The fees jc1234 described are true for memorial day thru labor day. But outside of that they are $15 on weekend. Not sure week days.

I am also fishing this same Tourney in April, any info on the lake would be wonderful, I have never fished it. I am heading up there next weekend.
