Laurel Lake Bass Fishing

I was told by a guy from Corbin that Laurel had some improvements done to help the bass fishing a few years ago. Does anyone know anything about this? How is it as a fishery?

I know they stock trout in laurel. It’s a Great Lake to fish and has big fish in it. They should start getting shallow after this next warm up and will eat a crank bait in the stained water.

Any idea what kind of weight wins tournaments there?

I've fished plenty of them down there where 18 pounds won't get a sniff of the money. This time of year in a bigger tournament I'd want 21 to feel comfortable. Great lake and can be a blast.
