Travel Trailer ... A Frame Style

Anyone own an Aliner or Chalet unit? Looking for experience with A Frame style towable RVs.
We want a weekend camper that stores in garage. Can't leave it outside due to HOA, no desire to use storage lot.
Finally decided not to drop $100K+ into a drivable unit prior to our full-time retirement. Waiting on high schooler to finish up.
Queen/King Bed, AC/Heat & Refrigerator required. Cassette Toilet possibly, definitely no indoor shower wanted.
Probably offload and off grid packages due to our tendency to stay/visit state and national parks.
    Thanks in advance.

If you're looking at used, look them over very closely for leak damage. Soft floors, mold smell, etc. Ever one of these I've seen have had some kind of leakage.

Many RVers just buy used popups use them for long distance travel. Then they sell'em for what they laid for them. They usually sleep 7. A new A frame or one of the small retro style t t is very expensive.

Currently, this is the front runner. We want to essentially 'camp' but off the ground.
We are pretty simple in our needs, but it's got to be 'get up and go' ready.
A week very rarely goes by that we don't hike at least one day. We really enjoy it.

What you have here is a modified teardrop rig. They are great to travel from place to place, but a pop-up is much better to use in one place for a week, for example.

That is a very nice camper, however you could probably buy a conventional full size travel trailer for the same money.

We tend to stay 2-3 nights and move forward. And it simply must fit into our garages at this point.
Teenager in school for two more years, prohibits full time travel. Just a few weeks here and there.
And we want fast mobility for long weekends, etc. No special tow vehicle, etc. (we have two SUVs).
Longer stays will be hotels, AirBNB, etc. and we want something small enough to pull/park there.
Obviously, we're limited by the garage door height mostly (both homes in HOA, can't stay outside).

We consider a high quality tent (Kodiak) for awhile. However, bears are an issue for canvas RVs.
