    Question Heading Sensor from Point 1??

    I see there is a Steadycast for the heading sensor but since i have the Point 1 already can i set the EchoPlus 93sv unit to use the heading from the Point 1? I looked in the menus and found where i can tell the unit to use P1 for gps but dont see it just for heading.

    page 19 , gps map 7600 manual under Heading Line and Angle Markers - " to use data from a connected heading sensor,------from chart >Menu>Chart setup>Chart appearance>Heading Line select "North Reference"

    assume you have something like this on your 93 sv ?????

    Give this a try. From the Chart view. MENU->Chart Setup->Chart Appearance->Heading Line->Source->Heading

    The source can either be the internal GPS or a heading sensor via NMEA. I've not tried it on the echomap but that's how I do it on the 7610. It should be very much the same.
    My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.
