    Cajun 18ft Johnson GT 150

Has a stainless prop now cannot find anything out on the model of the prop. Will get serial # and make when I get home. Currently runs 50mph gps but no speed increase from 3/4 to full throttle and if the tach is correct it will occasionally turn 6000 rpm. No jack plate as of now. Does not like coming on plane. Anyone had one of these dual console boats?

Is it a travis edition hull?
If so you're semi screwed, not much you can do for it, that plywood transom can't hold a jack plate.
20" worked raker is going to be your best choice, it's a turd until a skilled hand works it. All said and done it'll be a 55 mph rig.

Which hull is this? 1996? transoms solid doesn't look this cruddy now due to about 3 weekends of hard labor on the gel coat new trolling motor and new graphs.

99% of Cajun/Johnson powered are Travis boats.
Not going to call your baby ugly, it is what it is, just want people to be aware of what they've got, and understand the limitations that were built into it.

Now *IF* you went out and installed a jack plate and two weeks later it's busted up, wouldn't you have wanted someone to tell you that might not be a good idea?

Pull the top cap off the transom. Should be clear what it is.
