    Rod Locker Locks

Have a TRX189 a little over a year old. Locks have worked fine until i just took a trip to Fla. Locked easily in the evening, went out of cabin in the am to unlock and the dang things were like frozen locked. Was concerned we were going to break key off in lock. After some time of jiggling around finally got them to open but was concerned for rest of the tip. Anything I can squirt in them to loosen them up and prevent repeat performance? Thanks in advance guys/gals.
    I think there's a Squatch in these woods !

Shoot WD40 in the key hole to force the water out then lube them with silicon.
