    Shaking Humminbird?

Installing Humminbird to the right of console on a 6" Ram mount. Even after tightening wing nut on Ram mount when running down the Unit shakes. Anyone have a solution to this concern?

You might try putting a piece of plywood or starboard inside the console to strengthen the area where it mounts

Lowrider58 first thing I checked was the stability and thickness of the location to be used to mount the ram mount base. There is a small substructure made into the upper cap of the boat at the location I chose for the ram mount to be placed. I have, in the past, used a short cord attached to one of the windshield attachment bolts and the Humminbird's mounting bracket. This appears to work but looks bush league.

Is the unit itself shaking and not the mount? If so, check the mounting bolts that attach the unit with the unit's mounting bracket. I too had a similar problem and the problem was the mounting bolts. If backing loose put a little lock-tite on the bolts. (NOT THE RED).

a buddy used a piece of hurricane tie with a rubber stopper on it, and lowered his ram mount all the way down until the rubber stopper met the boat, then locked it tight... doesn't budge.
