    ice chest lid

    am thinking about removing my center seat (20xd), will the ice chest lid stay put at speed w/o some kind of latch?

    Mine is hinged on the front and it stays down at speed.

    Mine came with a latch when I took my seat out.

    My 21xd “had” a third seat at one time (thinkin about putting one back in, not sure). The ice chest lid henge is in the rear and has never came open at any speed, but it has the same latches as the back storage compartments.

    I built one, and I like it . But it did cut down on the Insulation value. Have to have more ice now.
