    Roy's store

Hey Mississippi BBCers, me and a couple old buddies are thinking about hitting Lake Washington in Chatham this week or next with the conditions at Grenada and Enid. Just want a chance to catch a few bigger crappie than we have up here. Is Roy's cabins the best bet for that lake? Also how's the bass fishing there? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Roy’s is good, the bass fishing is great. It’s a crowded little strip in the middle of no where. Good luck and you can expect a lot of company anywhere you go.

Roy’s cabins are extremely low budget. Basically storage units on the lake. I just spent four days fishing the lake and it is extremely tough. Water is high and stained and the fish are in a foul mood. Plus we just got two more inches of rain today. This is also the only lake open in the delta right now so irs getting tremendous pressure. If you want something decent I’d get a hotel room somewhere but that’s just me.

As bad as you always talked about MS and MS people in the lounge a couple of years ago I find ironic that you would bless us with your tourism dollars and time in the state of MS. All of our fish have traces of DDT. Don’t eat too many.

You are really a southerner. That far down in a long state and you are not to far from Kentucky. I would be considered a yankee as I was born 30 minutes from Wisconsin. Moved down when I was 12 and only went back one time to get more belongings. Never wanted to go back. Yep I am a dam yankee! Wasn't it you that moved from MS. To IL. ?
