That looks awesome. The 3" is a little pricey but I'm sure it will help 100 %..........

Getting ready to install one on my 188. Unless the 198 is different, I've read other posts that state that you just remove the allen bolts, place spacer, and screw back in with provided extended allen bolts. Is it that easy or does it vary. They didn't mention anything about having to take a mallet to it.

Definitely do it! I added the spacer on my RT188 when I added my precision dual mount and I love the extra room!

What would be sweet is a 2" spacer, trim switches, a 1" spacer, then the steering wheel. I have the 2" spacer and I did bend the switches up a bit, bit still wish they were a little closer.

My 178 was as you describe. Just remove the 6 allen bolts.

Hey all - I have a 2008 Z520 and trying to make it better for me and my wife to drive. For her we have to put a couple seat cushions behind her to push her up to reach the wheel and the hotfoot. For me it is mostly the Wheel. I just found this thread on the steering wheel spacers and did not know they existed until now. Will this work on my 08 Z520 or do I need to change the wheel out? If it will work what size should I go with.
    2"
    2.5"
    3"
I share some concerns others have with the controls being too far away can they be mounted on the top of the spacer? close to the wheel?
