Bass boat on Whalon in Bolingbrook

Planning to take an 18' Bass Cat Sabre there. Any concerns with doing so?

Last I knew you could put any boat in there as long as the big motor stays trimmed out of the water and trolling motor only for power.

I fish a Nitro Z20 and am on Whalon quite often. It’s 5 mins from my house. Just don’t touch your big motor, be nice to everyone and you’ll never have an issue. Enjoy the lake. Fun place to fish.

You will be good...I believe the cut off is 18 feet. Motor has to be out of the water too.

Now I'll just need to learn to load the (new) boat without the motor...and stay dry doing it.

That's the trick, lol...with the outstanding positioning of the pier you're presented with few options...slope of the ramp into shallows, especially after heavy rains can be a pain for sure
