    Talons

For the ones that are "on the fence" about what length Talons you may want, I've posted pictures of 2018 Talons that I just installed on a customers Basscat Puma FTD. These are the 8' three stage and as you can see, are actually lower than the 250 ProXs. The outboard is on a Bobs Jackplate and is lowered to the point where he has to put it in order to back in his garage. If I can help someone with their purchase, or questions, give me a call.

Here's the 15s. They are a little shorter than 10' poles

From what I have found for the current models, the 8' models are 48" long, the 10' models are 49" long, and the 12' models are 57" long. What is the length of the 15'?

I went from the 12ft to the new 8ft model and they look much better and a lot less weight but I cannot get my remotes to pair up with the talons. Read the instructions over and over and didn't really see anything on this process, what am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will probably have to clear them out to get them to pair. Hold the up button on the talon and kill the power and turn the power back on all while holding the up button on the talon. That will clear it. Then try the pairing again

Thanks, the two talons are paired. What is the process to get the remotes to pair up with the talons?

Well after a conversation with a Minkota tech today they are having a software issue with the new 3stage talons. I had the remotes paired right but would only go down but not up. They ask me if it was on the trailer and I said yes, asked me to measure from the ground to the bottom of the talon. So I said 2'9 inches, he then informed me that for some reason they will not retract via remote at that exact measurement. So I have to download an App and Bluetooth to the talons and update them to fix it. How do they send this stuff out to customers and have to update a brand new product?
