    Water conditions for high speed??

    I figure you Stroker guys can best answer this question. For maximum speed do you like slick water or a slight chop on the water??

    A slight chop works best. In glass water the hull feels like it is stuck to the water. When I had a speed ski built many many years ago it came with the edges rough like a chattered router cutter would make. When I asked about it the answer was it is that to get the water to break loose from the sides and eliminate drag. Still have the ski hanging in the garage, hasn't been used in I believe 48-49 years. Looks new except the bindings.
