    Uflex Hyd Steering Cylinder

I know a couple of the Ally guys have converted to the uflex steering cylinder. I have a good friend that needs to replace a Seastar cylinder but as I recall the ones that converted liked the Uflex better. He runs a Stroker/250xb/Sporty into the mid 90's going fishing. I have a couple of questions.
Are you still happy with the Uflex and do you think it is still a better choice than the Seastar?
What is the part number for the hi-perf cylinder assy?
Did you use the one for up to 300 hp or over 300 hp?

I still like mine. The silversteer is the heavy duty version. Other than color the uflex and silversteer look identical. All dimensions are the same, only difference is the silversteer is rated for 1500psi and the normal uflex is rated at 1000psi. Is it going on a merc or yammi?

Sorry I just reread and noticed the 250xb. This first link is a silversteer, version 1.

This one is the regular uflex.

They are both available in a starboard or port side mounted linkage arm, either will work.

Have had mine long enough to know I would buy it again. Better design IMO.
