    Thumbs Up FLW On lanier

Looks like the FLW guys are all set up for tomorrow here on lanier. Lots of trailers and set up down at the ramp.
who all fishes a BAss Cat that is here? I heard there are like 365 boats starting tomorrow.

You likely heard 365 for total fishermen (pros and cos combined)

Regardless of the boat brand, I don't envy anyone launching at Laurel Park (upper lake) and driving down the lake to get close to the dam in 15-20 mph winds. Not fun...

You will see primarily Rangers running up and down Lanier this week. FLW is a Ranger dominated tour for various reasons. Enjoy the tournament. I'm looking forward to April when they visit my home Lake Cumberland.

And there off. 33 degrees this morning.
Never seen guys just back down and launch there boat with no one in it before. Boats just floating around. Floating back on the ramp ect. I could never. Even if I had a free boat every year do that.
also first big tournament I’ve seen on this ramp with no ramp marshal or help. 8 lane boat ramp, never used more than 4 or 5 at a time. Mile of waiting boats. But they have a lot of flash.
I’ll miss the weigh-in today. But try to get down there tomorrow.

It's pretty cool. If you enjoy all of that you should consider being a co-angler sometime. It's quite an experience.

I was a media boat driver in this event and we stayed on Zack Birge Sunday. It was funny, I was in my Caracal, another media driver was in his Caracal, a photographer was in his P4, and Zack in his Cougar. The other Caracal owner said man, this is BCB corner. Good to see the BCB guys doing well.

It has been common to shoot boats off at events going back to the 1980's and it works very well, unless your the last one. That's happened too where the last guys shoots one off and waits on the next guy to come, who doesn't show up. Though it works well and the local event people frown at the practice. They think your big-shott'ing though it really is a very efficient and fast launch method if you have a group.
