First post. Long time Garmin GPS user but I have had Lowrance finders til now. Made the switch to a new Echomap 95sv and I am more than excited to get it. Delivery has been delayed thanks to the snow storm here in Saskatchewan. I have been reading up but I can not tell which transducer will be with this unit. Can you tell me how to tell which it is? The model is 010-01821-00. Thanks

Well it arrived and you are correct. I called Garmin but no chance for an exchange.
I have to buy the GT52 outright if I want it and its $300 US.
I think I will use the CV52 and see how it works out.
Hodges Marine has the GT52 for 243 with free shipping.
LWINCHESTER2 has given me some tips and I'm working on my CV52 settings and starting to get some pretty good pictures with it.
Thanks for that, I just placed my order. I regularly fish in 100 FOW
so I think I wouldn't be satisfied with the CV52.

This also may be a dumb question but now that I will have both the GT52 and CV 52,
is there any advantage to mounting both? Possibly improved side vu?

It can only use one. Mount the GT52 and sell the CV52 on ebay.

You will not see any difference in the GT over the CV. Waste of money which would be better spent towards panoptix
I have read the GT gives a better downview image in water deeper than 50 feet.
